7-Eleven Fire and Ice Show

Every Sunday in the Winter, Whistler Blackcomb presents the 7-Eleven Fire and Ice Show. The Fireworks start at 6:30 pm at the base of the Whistler Village Gondola complete with fire spinners, fireworks and the Ski hottest Pros getting some big air through a ring of fire. A must do fun family event. After the show, head upstairs to the GLC’s Afterburn Party.
Winemaker Après Series

Head up to the Steeps Grill and Wine Bar up on the Whistler Mountain, the Après Series allows you to sample a BC inspired menu perfectly paired with wines. Three dates: Osoyoos Larose and Nk’Mip Cellars on Wednesday, February 23; Jackson Triggs Okanagan Estate on Wednesday, March 16; and See Ya Later Ranch on Wednesday, April 13. Tickets start at $54.00 and are available by calling 604.905.2379. All events begin at 2pm.
Kokanee Valley Race Series

The Kokanee Valley Race Series is held on Thursdays throughout the season. The series is open to skiers, telemarkers and snowboarders with different gender and age divisions. Come out and have some fun with your friends and coworkers. Pro categories are eligible for a cash prize and everyone is eligible to win tons of great merchandise. The race is recorded and played back at the Kokanee awards party with great draw prizes for all. Remember, you must be at the awards party to win draw prizes. MarchFourth Marching Band

MarchFourth Marching Band is an extensive mobile big band spectacular, consisting of saxophones, trombones, trumpets and a drum/percussion corps, anchored by pumping battery-powered electric bass. Entertainment includes stilt-walkers, dancing girls, flag twirlers, clown antics, and acrobatics accompany. The sound is Huge, melodic, and dynamic, taking audiences on a musical journey around the globe. MarchFourth’s original material draws inspiration from an eclectic range of influences, such as gypsy brass, samba, funk, afro-beat, big-band, jazz, and rock music, as well as television, film, circus, and vaudeville. Tickets available at the Whistler Visitor Centre for $16 plus taxes.

Three Open athletes and three Amateur athletes with the most votes by February 19 2007 will each win a 7-day 6 night trip to Whistler during the TWSSF to compete in the finals.
